Job Summary

Technician Radio Optimization – Kunduz (Casual) with Etisalat Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform RF network planning and optimization basic activities.

• Carry out area and site surveys to identify RF equipment location and antenna orientation.

• Analyze equipment co-location requirements for multiple operators.

• Perform site candidate evaluation.

• Perform Site Audit and physical Parameter Modification.

• Verify RF-related site engineering drawings.

• Perform site Integration for New sites and acceptance.

• Perform frequency and BCC planning and/or PN planning.

• Perform co-channel and adjacent channel interference testing and analysis.

• Undertake basic network performance analysis (KPIs) and basic optimization tasks.

• Undertake Drive test and post-processing by using TEMS software.

• Undertake customer complain and troubleshooting.

• Basic and simple reporting for customer complain and his/her activity to Senior staff.

• Traveling to customer locations and field sites.

• Analyzing RF broadcasting equipment and suggesting improvements.

• Using computer software to design RF installations for new wireless networks.

• Troubleshooting network issues.

• Conducting laboratory tests on RF equipment.

• Ensuring regulatory standards are met.

• Familiar with ZTE and Huawei equipment.

• Identifying the causes of faults and work with on-site teams to implement preventative measures so that they do not happen again.

Job Requirements

Essential: High School Graduate with one year of relevant experience.

Preferable: Bachelor of telecommunication engineering/ computer science with two years of relevant experience.

A
